Anna is in her final year at the Royal Northern College of Music and enjoys a busy and varied career as a cellist which combines teaching and performing, both as a soloist and chamber musician. She has appeared in venues such as the Purcell Room and All Soul’s Langham Place in London, and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. This year she is a recipient of the Leverhulme Music Mentorship Award for teaching. Since being at the RNCM, Anna has studied with Emma Ferrand and Petr Prause and has played in masterclasses to Istvan Vardai, Adrian Brendel, Pierre Doumenge, Tim Hugh, and Alice Neary. She currently learns with Tim Lowe, professor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Anna has performed frequently as a successful duo with Louis Perera and future engagements together include a planned recital in Sri Lanka in September 2018.
