Focus
Focus is our student group at St. Andrew’s. We meet after the evening service at 8.00pm, over in the Abbey Hall next to the church. Our aim is to have fun, get to know one another better, but above all to study God’s word together and help each other to live as Christians. Tea, coffee and, of course, cake is provided as well!

Focus has a Facebook group, which is a great way to keep in touch with what’s going on. There are also some Focus webpages at focus.jottit.com
Focus is a great way to get to know other students at St. Andrew’s. We are also keen to link students with families and other members of the church – you might even get invited for a slap-up Sunday lunch! If you’d like to know more about this, talk to Dan.
If you’re new to St. Andrew’s, then get settled in and find your feet (and gifts!) before committing yourself to serving. However, if St. Andrew’s is your church, then do think about getting involved! It could be reading or praying in a service, playing music in a band, being part of the youth and children’s work… Being part of a church is about giving as well as receiving, so why not think about how you might be part of the life and ministry of St. Andrew’s.
There is loads more that happens here! Pick up a term card, notice sheet or Fisherman magazine to find out what.
If you have any questions or would like to now more about Focus (or anything else about St. Andrew’s Church) then do get in touch with Dan Wells who will be happy to help.
